We are looking forward to a long and trustful relationship with you. I was recently contacted by Mr. Sharman from SB Asset Management after a colleague passed him my details. I consented to an initial meeting at my office where we started to learn about each other both personally and professionally. He explained to me the origins and history of his firm, his role and gave me example products and client profiles he manages. Unlike everyone I had met from his industry before, he was happy to provide references and I was encouraged to confirm the facts he gave me on himself and his company. I therefore agreed to answer the questions he wished to ask regarding my current investments and future investment goals which led to me agreeing for him to source and propose a solution for my needs. We then met again after the Christmas holidays at his office so that he could present his work to me. He had put together a couple of potential solutions, and explained the benefits and risks associated of each one. As a matter of due diligence I conducted my own background research on the company, vehicle and funds he had recommended, and once I was satisfied, agreed to move forward.
In a third meeting, we selected the appropriate opening positions in accordance to my risk tolerance, and then proceeded with the paperwork which was all processed with minimum fuss. My account is now active and I am now currently preparing to sit down and appoint beneficiaries and update my will.
Mr. Sharman has introduced me to other co-workers of his who ensure my account and best interests are put first whenever he is absent through traveling. Having met with a couple of his colleagues briefly on a visit to his office, I am confident in their set up.
